March Update: Pool Hours for Winter / Save the date for Skins
Massey Park has confirmed that the outdoor pool will close for the summer on Sunday the 2nd of April. We will host our Saturday and Wednesday trainings outdoors until the closure.
From there we move to winter training hours and locations.
- From the 5th of April Wednesday training will be two lanes inside from 6:30pm to 7:30pm.
- From Saturday 8th of April the weekend training will move to the Manurewa Aquatic Centre with 3 lanes from 8:00am to 9:30 am.
We know three lanes is not ideal, and 4 is preferred to make sure the range of paces is properly supported and everyone has a chance to swim properly. Unfortunately, neither pool can offer us 4 lanes during their regular hours on a Saturday. We have approached Manurewa to offer additional payment to open from 7:00am on a Saturday to secure the lanes, but they are unable to support this right now. Make sure you have your
Skins for 2023 has been booked for Saturday the 29th of July starting from midday. Make sure you note this in your diary! This is a super fun event, unsanctioned so all can enter, and you can invite family and friends to participate.
